QA Automation Engineer - Cybersecurity
At TRIXIT, we're looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join a project with our client, an innovator in digital identity and security. 🔐 Their solutions - including digital certificates, electronic signatures and secure authentication - help protect millions of users across Europe.
In this role, you’ll work with complex systems and take a structured approach to test automation, focusing on building and maintaining automated tests in a domain where security and compliance requirements matter.
🌍 You can work remotely from anywhere in the EU, or join us in our Prague 5 office - it’s up to you!
🎯 What You Will Do
- Analyse requirements based on industry standards and translate them into test scenarios
- Define test strategies and plans for new features and changes
- Design, develop and maintain automated tests across system, integration, performance and regression testing
- Contribute to the development and improvement of test automation frameworks and environments
- Support testing activities across the development lifecycle where needed
- Validate functional and non-functional requirements and ensure high test coverage
- Collaborate closely with developers and other team members in an agile, cross-functional setup
✅ You’re a Great Fit for the Role If You Have
- Hands-on experience with test automation of web applications and REST APIs
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured, Maven, Postman or similar
- Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript or JavaScript
- Familiarity with tools like GitLab, Jira, Confluence, IntelliJ or test management platforms
- Solid understanding of internet technologies such as DNS, DNSSEC, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS
- Strong communication skills in English for smooth cooperation in an international team
- Experience working in an agile, cross-functional team
➕ Nice to Have
- Experience with cryptography, PKI or digital certificates
- Knowledge of X.509 standards or RFC 5280
- Familiarity with CA/Browser Forum requirements or security compliance standards
