We’re looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our client in the building materials sector. In this role, you’ll design and develop cloud-based data pipelines, work with modern tools like PySpark, Databricks, and Azure, and help drive a large-scale digital transformation. If you enjoy solving complex data challenges, working with big data technologies, and contributing to meaningful solutions, this could be the perfect fit for you!

🎯 What you will do:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using modern cloud technologies.
  • Work with diverse and complex data sources to extract meaningful insights.
  • Ensure data availability, accuracy, and consistency in the Data Lake.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into solutions.
  • Support the deployment of data pipelines across the company.
  • Contribute to testing, debugging, and documenting data workflows.
  • Be an active member of a cross-functional international team working on impactful digital solutions.

✅ You’re a Great Fit for the Role If You Have:

  • Solid experience in Data Engineering (ideally with Python). 🐍
  • Experience with big data technologies, e.g., (Py-)Spark, Delta Tables, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience with general-purpose programming languages (Python, C#, Java, Scala, etc.). 👩‍💻
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. 🧠
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies and approaches.
  • Fluency in English - you will be using it on daily basis. 💬


✨ It Will be a Plus if You Have

  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and analytic tools like Azure Synapse or Databricks.
  • Familiarity with multiple big data file formats (Parquet, Avro, Delta Lake).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and/or tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
